Our 6th class debating team which consists of Aoife Rooney, Karol Warnock, Frank Regan, Elliekate McKeen, Oscar McConville, Elliot Brennan and Braidan McCoy on research we’re victorious in the first round of the debating competition. They were against Drumlease NS and opposed the topic ‘Every child in Ireland has the right to a local playground’. Congratulations to the team and best of luck in the next round where they will be proposing the motion that ‘Eliminating plastic pollution from the oceans is a dream’.
