The girls played in a blitz on the 6th of April 2022 in Bougann , Manorhamilton. They worked hard and won all of their games. Adeline, Annaliese and Sophia played astonishingly in midfield and scored points and goals. Lilly and Katiemae made brilliant blocks and made some great clearances. Shakira was great at intercepting the football, Emma made outstanding blocks in goals. Emmajane made some fierce passes and kicks. Nicole made some great passes and made some clean catches. Sadhbh made some brilliant clearances from our defence line. The girls played great and they are now going to progress to the next part of the competition. Well done to all the girls that played in the blitz.
The boys played on the 5th of April in Manorhamilton and won 3 out of 4 games in the tournament.There was good football on display.Fearghal and Keefe were our top scorers with many points and goals.There was some tenacious tackling from Kyran and Fintan in midfield both players showed their fitness by covering every blade of grass in their games. Daniel was the goalkeeper and made some astonishing saves. Joseph showed his versatility by playing in a variety of positions and picked out some lovely passes. Eoin & Lennon were in the back line and managed to get some brilliant blocks. Jamie the full forward pawned of the defenders and made some great scores. Jim was in the back line and made brilliant clearances.
The boys unfortunately can’t progress to the next round as they were narrowly beaten by a very well organised team from Diffreen. The teams really enjoyed the day and represented their school brilliantly.
