We had a busy last week in First Class! We had a visit from the dentist - Niamh Browne, who is Alice’s Mum. She told us all about looking after our teeth. She showed us how many spoons of sugar were in various sweets and drinks. She emphasised the importance of brushing our teeth 2-3 times each day and not eating treats between meals. The children all got toothbrushes, stickers and some information on caring for our teeth. A big thank you to Niamh for coming in to talk to us.
We also went on our Minibeast hunt this week. We searched the school grounds and saw lots of small creatures, including flies,spiders, wood lice, millipedes and moths. Look at our lovely pictures,
Finally, we had some good news on Tuesday - We had 3 winners in the Junior section of the Manorhamilton Show Art Competition. Well Done Luisa, Oliver and Ameerah!
