On Thursday 9th June, First Class went on our school tour. 40 children with teachers Ms. Daly, Ms. Kneafsey, Ms. McKenna and Mrs.McSharry went to Castle Adventure Farm outside Ballyshannon. Excitement was high, starting with the trip on Foleys bus! We started with our morning snack and then divided into two groups.We played in the outdoor play area - on the swings, slides, zip line , mini golf and on the the barrel train. We visited the indoor animal area - we saw hens,ducks,chicks,goats, donkeys,skunks, peacocks,deer, emu, and lots more. We had some tasty lunch. We were allowed to pet some chicks and handle an emu egg in the petting corner. We got a spin on the barrel train and finished off in the soft play area. We went back to school tired but happy!!
