On Thursday 9th June, 40 First class children with teachers - Ms.Daly, Ms. Kneafsey, Ms. McKenna and Mrs.McSharry visited Castle Adventure Open Farm outside Ballyshannon. Excitement was high as we waited for Foleys buses to bring us to our destination. We started off with our snack and then we were divided into two groups. We played in the outdoor play area - on the swings, slides, zip line, mini golf and wooden track. We were brought around the indoor animal area where we saw ducks, hens, peacocks, goats, skunks, donkeys, deer and lots more. We petted some chicks in the petting area and held an emu egg. We had our lunch. Then, we got a ride in the barrel train and finished off in the soft play area. Finally, we went back to school on the bus - tired but happy!!
